Our watchword is build. We build Lives, Careers and Projects... One person at a time. DSA has performed admirably on contracts with Hensel Phelps Construction Company to provide Labor Compliance services for the City of Houston Airport System projects and purchase and install both specialty items and medical equipment for the Jennie Sealy Replacement Hospital project at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Previously, DSA held a Labor Compliance contract with the Houston Independent School District (HISD) monitoring over 40 projects, 95,000+ certified payrolls, and completing 11,000 on site interviews. With nearly 40 years of experience of public and private construction management, DSA creates and uses innovative technological, logistical, and personnel strategies to guarantee total client satisfaction throughout the entire project, from design through occupancy by:
- Aligning each job with the client’s business objectives along with the project’s impact upon the community and environment.
- Providing a single point of contact ensuring accountability with constant, pro-active communication
- Delivering quality services to safely complete projects on time, within budget, and in compliance
Samuels, a proud graduate of Iowa State University with dual MA degrees in Public Administration and Community & Regional Planning, took an unorthodox route in developing a niche in the construction industry by first starting out working in and managing city sponsored home repairs programs for non-profit organizations followed by several years in the industry. Having a brief spell in the Demolition industry, Samuels finally decided to go on his own and form D. Samuels & Associates, LLC in 2011.
Darryl is an active member in the construction community by participating in the Houston Chapters of the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) and Associated General Contractors (AGC).
